If I’ve learned anything while writing my report, it’s that the indigenous people and culture have faced many injustices over the years. Starting from their childhood, they were forced to change everything that formed their identity. They were put into residential schools and forced to learn new values, beliefs and adapt to a new culture they didn’t recognize.
