On September 28th, Sha’teiohseri:io Patton (a graduate of Stanford University) came to talk about the 7 Generation Thinking. This means the survival of original/ancient practices and teachings and being able to use them in a modern way without losing the meaning they once had. This became hard with the onslaught of colonization and the assimilation of the Indigenous people into the European way of life.
