First, Dawson implemented The Rooftop Gardens Project on its campus. It is a garden where the school grows its local food for its community. It promotes healthy eating and is beneficial for the ecosystem. I believe that the small garden we already have at Champlain could be enlarged to create a similar one to the one at Dawson’s. The students could take care of it by using the humus created by a composting system that we could also integrate on our campus.
