The march started out as more of a political regroupment where people shared political beliefs. Mostly Québec Solidaire was represented with many signs and flags of that party. Many people were wearing shirts, label pins and more representing their solidarity to the party. Other parties like the Green party and the Parti Québecois were represented but on a smaller scale.
