A vaccine that would cause autism ?

According to an article published by the National Library of Medecine, Andrew Wakefield and his coworker published a paper in the Lancet suggesting that the MMR (measles, mumps and rubella) vaccine might cause autism in children. Despite significant flaws in their paper, such as a very small sample size, and some unproven conclusions, the study got a lot of attention from media. This publicity led to a decline in MMR vaccination rates because parents were worried about the possibility of autism following the vaccination.
