In this photo, we see a man, seemingly rich, that is ‘shredding’ the world for money. That is the literal sense of the photo, though there is much to unpack. It essentially conveys the greed of the people, and communicates at what cost the earth and environment should be slaughtered; for money. "Poison Fish" by Nnedi Okorafor is a story about a community who does not have access to safe drinking water, whereas the community on the opposite side of a wall has perfectly filtered and safe drinking water.
