If I had met Tara when she was a teenager, I would have told her that she is a victim of abuse. Like she explained in the book, she doesn't know if it's normal that they treat each other the way they do. I would also tell her that her dad is awful. I would've told her that he is toxic and that its not normal to treat his children like that. I would've tried to get Tara out of that situation.
