While reading A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess I experienced many feelings but the one that is the most prominent and frequent is the feeling of being shocked at some of the things Alex and his gang do. The more I read the more I was shocked at how awful some of the things they do and to me the most shocking thing was that they seemed to feel no remorse or guilt after committing these crimes. They almost seem to get joy from committing these crimes and this really shocked me.
