American’s Post_9/11 strategy

9/11: a day that will forever be engraved in people's minds. A tragic day for the New Yorkers that were in the World Trade Center as well as the Pentagon, and a day that there was a cultural shift in media. Evelyn Alsultany, a leading expert on the history of the representation of Muslims and Arabs, came out with a book suggesting that after the 9/11 attacks, there were surprising acts of sympathy towards the Muslim/ Arab people. Most of these representations were in the media. There are such acts in the 2018 TV series: Homeland.
