Ancient Greece and Sacrificial Rituals

In Ancient Greece, greek mythology and the gods of Olympus were their predominant belief system. Amongst the 12 gods, Zeus, god of sky and weather, was the father of them all. Greek mythology was significant at the time as society used it to answer all their questions about life. Unlike the three major monotheistic religions, the ancient greek did not have any form of written scripture to guide them. Consequently, they turned to the deities for all their wants, needs, and questions.
