How did we end up having certain stereotypes against Arabs and Muslims? We didn’t grow up thinking someone was evil unless someone told us they were. This is the case when it comes to seeing Arabs and Muslims in movies or tv shows, without even thinking about it, we automatically set them as the antagonists unless proved otherwise. Hollywood has a tendency to use Arabs and Muslims as their main characters when it comes to terrorists and violence, giving us viewers a stereotyped idea on them.
