As science advances and technology progresses, certain jobs that were previously occupied by humans are being replaced by machines and computers. This brings an important moral dilemma to the table: should we, or should we not, be striving to replace human labor with automated labor? While taking an ethical rationalism point of view would encourage us to not do this, looking at this issue from a utilitarian perspective suggests we should. Although there are valid points in each of these perspectives, I ultimately agree with the utilitarian perspective; I think we should automate human jobs.
