By the end of last year the European Union motioned for gas and nuclear energy to be labelled as green. The plan has been to include them to the taxonomy regulation in the union’s investment rules. The problem is that this regulation is supposed to be a science-based investment tool to prioritise sustainable alternative and lower the risk of greenwashing.
