Growing up as an only child boredom is something you grow accustom to. You don't have that built in best friend or someone to turn to when boredom does strike, what you do have is time. As we get older we learn that boredom gives us that time to think. We realize how slow time goes and how we will never get any of it back, but we sit there and we think. Without realizing we our giving our minds that time to calculate what move to make next when it comes to making a decision, we give our minds that time. That's the value boredom has, to give you that moment of time.
