The United States has long been known as “the melting pot.” Meaning, “a place where a variety of races, cultures or individuals assimilate into a cohesive whole” (https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/melting%20pot). Because of this, there are many distinct aspects of American culture. The aspects I find most interesting are the likely hood of big thinking and competition. Both build off of each other positively, and sometimes negatively.
