While looking around the garden, I happened to come across a bee resting on a leaf. I quickly took a picture before it buzzed away. Some species of bumble bees native to Canada have become endangered due to pesticides and habitat loss. Even though we are quick to stray away from them because we are scared of their sting, bumble bees are said to rarely ever use their stinger unless provoked.
