This picture was taken in 2017 when I visited my family in Chios, Greece. I had never been to that beach so I was excited during the ride there. That day was very hot, super clear sky with no clouds in sight. We had to walk down some wooden stairs through a cafeteria that was located there, to get to the beach. My mom had insisted I put on sunscreen, I don't even get sunburns, her on the other hand, turns as red as a tomato. But once I'm in the water or even sitting near it, I feel like the weight lifts off of my shoulders, all the muscles in my body loosen up and relax. My mind just forgets…
