Captain Marvel is a 2019 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character Carol Danvers. This film delivers some optimistic messages related to honesty and more, but watching a fearless, ambitious, strong woman become a superhero is the greatest takeaway. Carol Danvers is a great role model: she still sees herself as capable, she is not objectified, her intellect and courage are respected by male peers, and she has a good sense of honesty. Women support women, the characters are diverse, ageism is nonexistent, and romance doesn't figure into things at all.
