I believe international students gain different experience from which they get from their backhome country. when students come from their backhome, they have to live in the new environment to survive in that country in which they have to face and tackle multifarious challenges such as homesickness, stress, workload, unstable emotions etc. According to me, the major challenges that international student face are homesickness that are hard for them to get out of it.
