I’ve been attending the college for less than a year and I was able to notice some of the efforts the school has put into becoming more sustainable. Firstly, the cafeteria offers reusable utensils, mugs and plates for students and personal to use, which is an important factor considering the effects of single-use plastic on the planet. Plastic plates and utensils are still available for some reasons, but I think they should consider establishing costs on non-reusable tableware to lead people towards more environmental choices.
