Today, I read my chapter right after completing the assigned readings and I found some connections between how Laozi thinks a ruler should be and the short 'guidelines' for rulers and sages in my chapter, such as needing to rule somewhat lightly and not be crafty. I also believe that according to my chapter in the Daodejing, a ruler should be in a state of wuwei while he rules ("If he is agitated, he loses his rule." --> non-action).
