I feel as though lots of these chapters are just a way for the Daoists to tell people that they are better than them. In my chapter, they compare "regular" people to children, and they constantly place themselves above others and believe that their way of thinking is the best. For a group who believes in exterminating pride, they sure do like to flex. Personally, I don't think it is possible for humans to be avoid of ego and pride, and many of the things that Daoists say they don't succumb to. It's part of what makes us human.
