At first, I did not understand my chapter at all. Indeed, the meaning of the sentences such as "they treat the myriad creatures as straw dogs" did not make any sense to me. However, after analyzing each of them carefully I finally got the message of the Daodejing. What I understood from this chapter is that offerings are truly important. It also talked about bellows and how limitless they are. Finally, it says that someone does not necessarily have to speak a lot to truly sent a message. On the contrary, if you talk too much you'll only get exhausted.
