After reading chapter 57 of the Daodejing a second time, it opened my mind to a different understanding/interpretation. I feel like the chapter is being told by a higher power looking down on our society and how we run it. A line that I found very contradicting but very meaningful was "the more clear the laws and edicts, the more thieves and robbers" for some reason when reading this I felt like it could be related to a parent raising their kid.
