I looked up for the original Chinese Dao-de-jing because I wanted to see how it was written. I wasn't surprised to see the word "state" in almost every sentence but I wanted to know where did that word came from in Chinese so I search on the Internet. It was long and complicated because it was in a language that I couldn't understand. Finally, I found out that the etymology of the word was possession of weapons to keep a territory.
