For an act to be considered as child labor, it must be work that is considered hazardous to a child’s health. Hazardous being something that can harm a child by exposure to physical, mental, or sexual abuse (UNICEF, 2025). In terms of my program, it is necessary to address the concept of child labor as many firms may be tempted to collect raw materials from these illegal factories to reduce their costs.
