My participation in the COIL-VE project has supported me to examine issues from both a local and global perspective. I have developed a better understanding of issues that we deal with on a daily basis here in Vancouver that people way across the world also deal with (ie. the cost of living). I have learned that recreation education in Dublin is targeted to seniors, whereas our education is targeted towards all ages.
