Corals are small invertebrate animals living underwater. According to experts, 50% of the world’s coral has already disappeared, and a quarter of marine species depend on them. This decline is due to global warming and human activities, according to Jean-Pascal Quod, the director of Reef Check France. He warns that if serious actions are not taken, corals could completely disappear by 2100.
