1. An ethical issue/problem that has taken place this semester would be Proposal 2, Michigan voters deciding whether to add technology devices to the search warrant rule. The ethical question at stake here is whether the warrants needed for searching devices will benefit the majority of people or make matters worse in regards to privacy. The summary of this issue is that the Fourth Amendment of the United States is at stake and the warrant, a legal process through which the government can obtain evidence of a criminal investigation by breaking in, will require probable cause.
