The decent work and economic growth goal is the eighth goal in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, adopted by all the United Nations Member States in 2015. This agenda provides a shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and in the future. There are 17 goals in total. This goal promotes sustained economic growth, higher levels of productivity and technological innovation.
