Our image is a depiction of a protest sign in the US during one of their 150 protests against AI back in July. The poster being held up says “ We don’t have enough water for this” which is to emphasize the insane amounts of water AI data centres’ use when cooling down the servers. In Oregon, Google’s database was said to use nearly 40% of one of their city’s water back in 2025.
