For this project, I was thinking of the art of Cindy Sherman, and how she would create these lovely portraits all while tackling ethical issues. I decided to take a selfie, and try to manipulate that picture as much as I could. As I was adjusting light and colors, something that sort of clicked in my mind was trying to adjust the color enough to make it look like the mask, covering my face, was just blended in and part of me.
