Do children move enough at school?

Children between the age of 6-17 years old should do at least 60 minutes of moderate or vigorous physical activities per day (World Health Organization). According to Naomi Buck, only nine per cent of the Canadian youth was meeting these standards. In her article “ Canadian schools must put more emphasis on physical education and get kids moving” she elaborates why schools should start considering physical education courses as a real course and not a distraction from other academic matter because physical activities are as important as a math class.
