There are just eight days left until election day, and us Americans are being inundated with campaigns and ads for the two leading candidates: Donald Trump and Kamala Harris. Not only is this election very captivating to follow, but this is also the first election I have voted in since I turned eighteen last year. I did an early mail-in ballot for my home state, Virginia, a couple of weeks ago. It was very exciting for me to know that I am contributing to my country’s politics and lawmaking, especially since I want to go into a career with law.
