I think that English has a lot to do with power because it is an international language that most people around the world can talk. Also, because of the colonization, there are many places around the world that the English language is the native language. I think that it demonstrates that English is a powerful language and it has a dominance on culture, we can think about Hollywood, which is renowned for its large film studios and the many head offices of different film companies that run the cinematographic industry.
