Ethical dilemma of euthanasia

Being terminally ill is a situation that puts a person in horrible physical and mental pain. Euthanasia is an option for these patients to choose to end their suffering where a physician assists their death. For some, euthanasia gives the opportunity for patients to get control of their body, while others oppose it for various moral reasons. The moral dilemma generated by this topic is discussed in the article “The Ethical Dilemmas of Euthanasia” by Megan Best. This paper will elaborate on Kant’s deontological view on this subject.
