In La Réunion, as a French territory, there are cities with French industries alongside local commerce. French shops are typically expensive, artificial, and less ethical in terms of production and sustainability. However, local markets are more affordable, and everything is organic. In my personal opinion, this makes them of better quality. Supporting local markets is important, as they are generally more ethical and more environmentally friendly.
