The virtual exchange program has opened my eyes and allowed me to meet new people from a different culture. Talking with the Texas students helped me understand many important differences between our daily lives, especially in banking and government support. I learned how credit, loans, and banking work in the U.S., and I was able to compare and contrast it with how our system works here in Iraq/Kurdistan. This was also helpful to me to see the advantages and difficulties in both places Kurdistan and US.
