The virtual exchange program was an amazing opportunity that I am grateful that I got to participate in. I learned a lot about life in Iraq and how it is different that life in the United States. The most interesting thing I found while doing the VE was the number of similarities between the two countries, going into the VE I assumed that there would be very few similarities but after finishing the VE I was shocked to learn how similar our lifestyles are.
