This virtual exchange experience impacted me by pushing me to be more considerate and empathetic when working across cultures, especially when time differences and language barriers are to be considered. I’ve worked in many cross-cultural contexts before, but this project reminded me that there’s a different level of tact needed to communicate clearly and avoid misunderstandings.
