Canada is a forest nation and that’s why forests are essential to many Canadians. It’s a place where cultural tradition can be practiced (like hunting and fishing), and they are also used for economic benefit. They have many other purposes like they can serve as a spiritual sanctuary or as a natural playground. I think that everybody has their own history with nature. Forest reminds me of the time I spent at my cottage who is located far into the woods.
