Forest is a big part of our culture especially here, in Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean. In fact, the forest industry has always had a crucial place in our economy. Indeed, our region is the largest wood reserve in Quebec and also constitutes 20% of Quebec’s operation when it comes to forest. Safe to say that it’s an unquestionable part of our culture.
