The first initiative that intrigued me and that I think would be interesting to add to the champlain community is the birds on campus. I think having access to more wildlife in our everyday life could be something important to students and faculty members, and we could even add optional classes or clubs to teach the champlain community more about these birds. While Dawson did a good job at transforming their ground in a wildlife landscape, the limited space Champlain college has would complicate this strategy.
