When walking through the Vanier garden, I stumbled upon a premature tomato plant. I instantly thought of growth and how society views things differently at their different stages. A green tomato is unappealing and can even be considered disgusting by some, but a red tomato is seen as delicious and juicy. This can go for other elements of our life, such as a child who seems weak and does not have much freedom till he or she turns 18. Maturity means good things when it comes to the human mind.
