The “Gaia” view of the earth is very similar to my point of view of the planet. In fact, I would even say that it mainly fits with my view of the whole universe. Indeed, I have learned that every particle in the universe interacts closely or from far with all the others, in a way or another. I thus strongly believe that everything is interconnected, that the universe is a whole individual evolving through time. Hence, I see the earth as a part of this greater whole, and what lies on earth, a smaller subdivision of this same whole.
