Moana is an animated movie which is based on a black girl ‘Moana’ and her father was the chief of the ocean. As Moana grew up, she learned all things about life on her island, but she wanted to experience life beyond the reef. However, whenever she came near the ocean, her parents brought her back because they wanted her to be the next chief of the island. Tala took Moana to a cavern where she found a passageway and she followed that tunnel and bang the drum because she wanted to know “who is she meant to be”?
