Generosity and giving are important attributes of a person. One day a man came to the Messenger, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him. He surpassed him "and this shows the effect of generosity on us, for generosity makes the soul pleasant and filled with a spirit of reassurance among people, for a person must be a generous horse by his nature.
