According to the United Nations, in 2020, about two billion people didn’t have access to safely managed water services. Even though this number has decreased since 2020, it still represents 70% of the global population. Most of those who doesn’t have the chance to turn on the tap and see a clean and translucent liquid falling off, are living in least developed countries. Poor management of water resource, pollution and rising sea levels are some of the reasons why some countries have more difficulties to give access to clean water to their population.
