The film Dumplin’, is about a teenage girl named Willowdean who is considered plus sized in her beauty pageant focused town. Her mother, who used to be a beauty queen and is very known and idolized in her town, gave Willowdean a hard life by making her feel neglected and not good enough because of the way she looked.
