On October 14, 2024, I had the privilege of shadowing an occupational therapist (OT) at Anna-Laberge Hospital for a day. Occupational therapy helps people whose physical or mental health, environment or social circumstances make it difficult for them to participate in activities that are important to them. An occupational therapist will work with you to identify the strengths and difficulties you may encounter in everyday life.
